God, show us how to walk in Your ways in this world that we live in. Receiving constant streams of opinion, information and entertainment makes clarity difficult sometimes.
Truth is light – let us not be deceived or swept away by the “wisdom” of this world (that is contrary to Your word) which only leads to darkness. Where there have been overstated or misused teachings of the Bible – either for one’s personal gain or simply by mistake – I ask You to repair the harm it may have caused. Let us not look to others to interpret You for us, but may we KNOW You personally – Your goodness, Your majesty, Your sovereignty.
May we seek You and know You. I pray that no confusion about Your word and Who You are be established in our hearts and minds. Please remove the strongholds of wrong-thinking and incorrect beliefs. Let us study Your word and submit to You wholeheartedly. May we be a family – immediate, extended, and for generations to come – who knows Your word, believes what You’ve said, lives by Your truth and walks in Your love. 
May we be ever grateful and overwhelmed by Your kindness, Your mercy, and Your notice of us – always remembering the Cross and our true identity in this world.
